Brecht is a municipality located in the Belgian province of Antwerp. The municipality comprises the towns of Brecht proper, Sint-Job-in't-Goor and Sint-Lenaarts. On January 1st, 2000 Brecht had a total population of 25,091 (12,584 males and 12,507 females). The total area is 91.19 km² which gives a population density of 275.15 inhabitants per km².
