Medicare

There are several publicly-funded health services in various countries called Medicare

• Medicare (Australia) is a National Health Service, this is, a comprehensive, universal (for all the residents in the country) public health system.
• Medicare (Canada) is a similar comprehensive public health scheme.
• Medicare (United States) is a publicly funded health insurance scheme for the elderly and disabled only.
